Slept well tonight in my room in the attic and woke up around 0700. Started walking at 0730 after a quick cup of coffee. Today´s walk was a long and lonely walk in the middle of nowhere. A straight road kilometre after kilometre - very boring and very long. Hard wind from behind and the first time I had to wear a buff and two long sleeve jackets (thin ones). Cloudy in the morning but no rain yet.
Finally in Calzadilla and I was the first one to the albergue and I made my choice and got the best bunk far awy from the door to the bathroom close to the heating device.
Later I was sitting outside the albergue and watching other pilgrims pass by. Suddenly I heard somebody talking about Santa Claus in Lapland - it was a Finnish man from Kuusamo in Finland. We had a cup of coffee before he continued. He was walking about 40 km every day so I will not see him again. I sent a text message to Marja and Tiina and told he was coming after them - maybe they end up inthe same albergue tonight.
Calzadilla has unisex shower and the bath room...
