This is early i the morning in Moratinos Therese and Henry from the US (under).
Here Martha and David from Washington Dc posing with the Portuguese Juan who had walked the camino since 2009 when he got unemployed. Martha`s left foot was still bad. I told her she should see a doctor.
The two Spanish women stayed at Sahagun - they had enough. The Germans Johannes and Frank were continuing. I told them I was going further, too. Next village was Bercianos del Real Camino and we all ended up drinking coffee and bear, eating tapas in the first bar after the walk. Met Kristina from Germany and Martin from Irland - they met on the camino and were walking together. Even if it was 2 o'clock in the afternoon and HOT everybody said they wanted walk to the next village. The last two hours to El Burgo Ranero were killing hot - no shade at all and lots of roadworks on the way.
The albergue in El Burgo Ranero is donativo which means you pay what you can. Johannes cooked me a dinner and I was drinking beer with Johannes and Frank. The hospitalero was singning to us and took us out for a walk.
Most of us paid 7 E. The showers were unisex, the rooms calm and the beds all right. Shared room with Johannes and Frank. A good nights sleep again, nobody was snoring (neither singing, laughing or talking).
